Our mission
We believe software creation should be accessible to everyone — not just those who can write code. Dropstone brings developers and non-technical people into the same workspace, with AI doing the heavy lifting.
Business owners describe what they need in plain English. Developers write and review code. AI agents handle the implementation. Everyone works in real-time, on the same project, with full visibility. This is what we're building.
The company
Blankline - Parent company
Blankline is a research-driven technology company focused on building safe, capable AI systems for software engineering. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Chennai, India.
Dropstone is our flagship product — the first collaborative AI workspace designed for entire teams, not just individual developers. We operate with a safety-first charter: our research priorities always come before commercial pressure.

What we believe
- Safety first: Research mandates supersede commercial timelines. If a model is profitable but unsafe, we halt deployment.
- User sovereignty: Your code stays yours. Local processing, no telemetry collection, and full offline capability by default.
- Radical transparency: We publish our safety evaluations, incident reports, and research findings openly.
- Aligned acceleration: We scale at the speed of safety — never faster. Capability without alignment is liability.
